Don't Go Drinking With Hobbits

This song was based on a true story. I think it was 2004 when I was invited to go drink with a bunch of people dressed as hobbits from West of the Moon, a fan fiction website about hobbits. It was Thursday night of DragonCon weekend when I met up with them. We drank till the wee hours of the morning and I awoke the next day with a sore throat. By Sunday, I had laryngitis. I couldn't sing a lick and felt like crap. Andrew sang and stalled through the Brobdingnagian Bards Sunday evening filk show. After that, I swore I'd never go drinking with hobbits again. Last year, I finally wrote the song about the event for my new CD What Color Is Your Dragon?.
